Current status and what to expect in years to come
Our clients often ask us what is the status of the program of energy efficiency retrofits of family houses?
Based on the currently available information, we can say: the last programme of family houses energy efficiency retrofits was conducted in 2015 and it was financed by a national programme.
The next tender should be financed by EU Funds, but it is currently on hold because the EU Funds can not be used for subsidies for physical persons (as was the case with the previous tender). Apparently, there will be changes to Regulation no. 1303/2013 of the European Parliament and the Council, from December 17, 2013. Afterwards, physical persons will be able to receive subsidies from ERDF.
What to expect
According to the annual schedule of financing programs, call for project proposals should be announced in December 2017, after the changes to the Regulation are made. The results themselves will be made public in July 2018.
The subsidies will range from 20.000 to 200.000 kn, and they will cover the renovation works (up to 60% of costs). The announcement says that the program will co-finance the costs of energy efficiency inspections, issuance of the certificates before and after the retrofits, as well as project management (in the amount of 85%).
